1.Introduction

Tapeout is a VLSI learning product. Operated by ReyaTech Systems Private Limited. This draft describes data paths visible in the current repository and calls out evidence that remains unavailable. It does not claim audited compliance with a privacy framework.

2.Information we collect

The platform may collect the following categories when you use the corresponding feature.

2.1Personal identification

Your name, email address and account credentials, used to create and secure your account.

2.2Educational metrics

Navigation, drafts, attempts, progress, assessment and credential records where the applicable service is enabled. Preview activity must not be promoted into verified mastery or credentials.

2.3Payment records

Order and transaction references returned by the payment provider selected at checkout. Payment credentials must be entered only in that provider's checkout, never in a Tapeout contact or course form.

2.4Simulation data

Code, testbenches and run artifacts submitted to an enabled lab service. Preview drafts and authoritative grading evidence are separate records with separate release gates.

3.How we use your information

• Service delivery — running courses, labs and assessments.
• Assisted learning — using AI-backed help only when that feature is enabled and its data path is disclosed.
• Communications — account, billing and support messages.
• Platform enhancement — improving content and reliability from aggregate usage.

4.Third-party partners

The configured integrations listed below may receive data when their corresponding feature is enabled. The table is a repository inventory, not evidence of a current contract, transfer mechanism, runtime invocation or provider certification. Those receipts remain release gates.

5.Your rights

Depending on applicable law and after identity verification, you may request the following. Self-service export and erasure are currently blocked until every data authority is covered.

3. 03.Deletion — request erasure of your personal data.
4. 04.Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
5. 05.Objection — object to specific processing of your data.

6.Purpose and provisional legal basis

The mapping below is provisional until named legal review confirms which law and basis applies to each identity, feature and jurisdiction.

1. 01.Requested service — account access, available courses, enabled labs and purchases that you explicitly request.
2. 02.Consent — analytics, advertising and session recording, and marketing email. The interface defaults these categories off. You may change the stored choice from the Cookie Policy; revoking a loaded tag requires a page reload.
3. 03.Legal obligation — records that applicable law requires the legal operator to retain or disclose. The exact schedule requires legal approval.

7.How long we keep it

A complete, approved retention schedule is not yet available. Until it is approved, Tapeout must not promise automatic deletion on a specific date or claim that every authority participates in export or erasure.

• Account and profile — retained while needed to provide the account and then handled under the approved schedule once available.
• Course state and lab work — retained according to the applicable learning/evidence purpose and content revision.
• Payment and invoice records — retained for the legally required period once that period is approved and documented; these may outlive an account request.
• Analytics and advertising data — held by the providers named in the register below under provider-specific terms that still require current receipts. Withdrawing consent prevents Tapeout from intentionally loading those tags on the next page load.

8.Transfer of your data outside India

Configured providers may process data outside India. The repository does not establish the live processing location, contract or transfer mechanism. The table therefore reports region evidence as unavailable until a current provider and legal receipt is recorded.

9.Children

Tapeout is intended for adults and does not currently operate a qualified child-consent flow. Do not create an account for a person under 18. If you believe this has happened, submit a privacy request through the contact form; provider acceptance does not confirm completion.

10.Complaints and privacy contact

A named Data Protection Officer or Grievance Officer and a response-time commitment are not configured in this revision. Submit a privacy request through the contact form. Depending on applicable law, you may also have a right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority.

• India — the competent authority identified by applicable Indian data-protection law at the time of the complaint.
• EU or UK — your competent national supervisory authority, where the relevant law applies.
