Terms of Service

1.Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Tapeout is a VLSI design and verification learning product.

2.Service description

The Service includes only the courses, previews, practice tools and account features that the interface marks as available for your identity. A preview does not create verified mastery, completion, evidence or a credential. An unavailable execution backend is reported as blocked, not as a learner failure.

3.User obligations

• Account security — you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential; account sharing is prohibited.
• Acceptable use — you agree not to use the platform for illegal activity, bypass access controls, or attempt to obtain private graders, tests, solutions or another learner's data. Rights that applicable law preserves are unaffected.

4.Payments and refunds

If Tapeout offers a paid plan and you complete a purchase, the following applies:

• Offer controls — the price, currency, billing period and renewal behavior shown in the exact checkout or signed order form control the purchase.
• Cancellation — use the mechanism stated in the applicable checkout, order form or Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• No implied refund — no refund, trial, guarantee, renewal or partial-period refund promise applies unless it is stated in the applicable offer or signed agreement.
• The Refund & Cancellation Policy controls — what is and is not refundable, and how to claim it, is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Where that document and this one differ on a refund, that document applies.

5.Intellectual property

Unless a separate notice says otherwise, Tapeout course materials, examples, graphics and product assets are owned by ReyaTech Systems Private Limited or used under licence. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to access them for personal learning. Open-source dependencies keep their own licences.

6.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the legal operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss resulting from use of the Service. Tapeout learning projects are educational and are not evidence of silicon, product, employment or safety certification.

7.Applicable law

Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. A final governing-law and dispute-forum clause is not asserted in this draft and remains subject to named legal review.
